About Coach Damon
Lacrosse is my passion! The game has given me so much and this blog is my way of giving back to the lax community. Specifically the most bad a$$ part of that community - the goalies! After learning to play goalie from scratch, I wanted to create a site where I could share what I learned with others so they too can become champions in the crease and in life. Learn more about Coach Damon.

Hi Coach Damon – I got my copy of your goalie book a few days ago and I just gotta tell you, this book is amazing. By far the most comprehensive resource out there when it comes to books for lacrosse goalies. Congratulations! Please keep producing great content for lacrosse goalies.
Hi Steve – Thanks for those kinds words! I put a lot of work into this book so I’m really glad you liked it. Thanks again. Good luck.
I personally do not like these posts. They don’t provide content on how to be better, which I would like. I’m fin with you posting these, I just would like it to not be the only post that week.
I understand you feel that way Ryan that’s why I don’t do that many ‘commercial’ posts but there are a ton of readers out there who were very interested in knowing when the physical book was available so they could order one for the goalie in their lives.
Hi Damon, Any chance of sharing the print-ready file with those of us who have already bought the ebook version? I’d appreciate being able to print out a few pages from time to time and as you say the original file wasn’t so friendly for the printer.
Just one to consider. Keep up the good work.
Cheers
Paul
Hi Paul – Unfortunately I don’t have a print ready file. I used this specific program to create the book design for physical print and there’s no associated print file that someone could print at home. Anyways, I appreciate the support! Thanks again!
When warming up a girl lacrosse goalie, is it smart to shoot on them with a goalie stick or should you be using an actual women’s stick?
Hi Kim – Don’t shoot on them with a goalie stick, also don’t use a men’s stick. They should get to used to seeing the release out of a regular women’s stick so please use that for their warmup and during practice. Good luck!
