Army Westpoint Commit and Goaliesource Creator Matt Chess – LGR Episode 60
By Coach Damon
February 11, 2020

Scrolling through Instagram Matt Chess saw a problem. Too many clips of goalies getting scored on. Where’s the goalie love?
So he created @GoalieSource (along with his buddy Nico, a Villanova commit) to give us what we want. Sweet sweet goalie content!
Matt is a 2024 commit to D1 lacrosse at Army West Point. As a current high school senior we discuss his journey with the position up to this point.
The highs, the lows, and the amount of work required to make it to a top tier D1 program as a goalie.
Matt is a great guy and I’m sure you’re going to learn a thing or two listening this conversation.

P.S. – Ready to take the next step? Here are 3 powerful ways I can help you:

Being a goalie parent is harder than playing the position. That’s why I created the Lacrosse Goalie Super Mom/Dad course — designed for parents with zero lacrosse experience who still want to support their goalie. You’ll learn how to train them (yes, really), but more importantly, how to guide them through the emotional highs and lows of the game.
