Lucy Pearson, a Philadelphia native, attended Springside Chestnut Hill Academy, where she established herself as one of the top lacrosse goalies in the country.
A multi-sport athlete who also excelled in squash and soccer, Pearson developed elite hand-eye coordination, athleticism, and mental toughness early on. She was a two-time US Lacrosse All-American, Academic All-American, and a nationally ranked goalie recruit coming out of high school.
Now a goalkeeper for the Stanford Cardinal, Pearson has become a cornerstone of the program’s rise on the national stage.
Since earning the starting role, she has played a key part in Stanford’s success in the ACC, earning Pac-12 Goalkeeper of the Year, Honorable Mention All-American, All-ACC Third Team honors, and a spot on the Tewaaraton Watch List. Known for her calm presence, strong communication, and ability to separate results from identity, Pearson brings leadership and consistency to the defensive unit.
Beyond the field, Pearson is recognized for her deep love of the game and commitment to growth. She trains and coaches with Goaliesmith, where she has sharpened both her technical understanding and leadership skills.
As a senior at Stanford, Pearson continues to balance elite athletic performance with academic excellence, helping lead a tight-knit, process-driven team with national championship aspirations.
