Niko Amato has a goal of being the best lacrosse goalie in the world. How’s that for the mother of all goals?
After you listen to how he trains and his beast mentality for attacking this position you realize it might not be that crazy of a goal.
As a freshman and as a sophomore Niko led the University of Maryland to the national championship game. The Terps weren’t victorious in either game but by the time Amato was a senior he was an All-American.
After college he took his talents to the MLL and in 2018, playing for the Chesapeake Bayhawks he shared MLL goalie of the year honors with John Galloway.
