What is the #1 challenge you’re facing as a lacrosse goalie?
Overwhelmingly, the most common answer I saw was – the mental game.
That’s why I was so excited to land an interview with Dr. Rob Bell, a mental toughness coach and sports psychology expert.
Dr. Rob Bell has a very impressive resume when it comes to pumping up athlete’s mental game. He’s worked with national champs in a variety of sports, Olympic medalists, PGA tour golfers, he’s authored 7 books, and has a podcast called ’15 minutes of mental toughness’.
He also has an impressive track record of improving his own mental game including running Iron Mans, Marathons, Tough Mudders, Ultra Marathons and experiencing 2 near death experiences.
I’ve been studying the materials of Dr. Bell for awhile now and I think you’ll not only appreciate his intelligence in the area of mental toughness but also his blue collar, T-shirt and jeans approach to working with athletes.
