In this week’s episode of the Lax Goalie Rat Podcast, Coach Damon interviews goalie coach and former BYU Goalie Tyler Storer or Coach T as he’s better known online.

Coach T has an amazing story.

He played College Lacrosse at BYU around the same time that I was playing at Cal in the MCLA. So we had some pretty epic battles back when we were both in our primes.

Tyler went to Limestone University his freshmen year before transferring to BYU.

While at BYU Storer had a pretty successful even being named an MCLA All-American at one and was poised to lead the Cougars to a National Championship heading into his senior year.

However, after going through shoulder surgery Tyler suffered a significant injury from a car accident prio to his senior season.

During this episode of the podcast Coach T speaks candidly about the story of his accident, the mental health challenges he faced from his injuries, and how he overcame them.

Now coaching goalies in the Florida area, Coach T is enjoying life training young goalies and also has an awesome media empire dedicated to lacrosse videography and photography.

Coach T joins the show today to discuss how to coach youth goalies, playing at BYU, overcoming the adversity he faced from injuries and mental health challenges, and much more!
