The Syracuse Orangemen appeared in three straight national championship games in 1999, 2000, and 2001 and anchoring their defense was goalie Rob Mulligan.
Rob Mulligan was a two-time All-American and captain for Syracuse. Mulligan ranks fifth on SU’s career saves list (626) and 10th on SU’s single season saves list (224 in 1999). He holds a 9-2 NCAA record and ranks third among Orange goalies on the NCAA career saves list (135).
He joins the podcast this week to discuss his development as a goalie, some of the guys he loves in today’s game and his experience going three straight national championship games.
