On today’s Lax Goalie Rat Podcast episode, I sit down to chat with University of Denver goalie Emelia Bohi.
Bohi had a phenomenal first season as the starting goalie for the Pioneers in 2022. Bohi was a 2022 Big East Defensive Player of the Week and 2x Big East Freshman of the Week.
The native of Bethesda, MD started playing lacrosse her freshman year of high school at Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart. She was named to the 2019 DC Metro Team and to the 2020 UA Washington DC Highlight Team.
During high school, Bohi was also a very successful multi-sport athlete. She was a three-sport athlete (lacrosse, soccer & basketball) at her high school and was named 2018 All-ISL and MVP of her school’s soccer team.
Emelia is also coached by Athlete’s Unlimited pro goalie Brittany Read which we discuss quite a bit.
