Haley Richards is a Division I women’s lacrosse goalie for the University of Louisville, competing in the ACC. A native of Moraga, California, she played high school lacrosse at Campolindo High School and developed through the Steps California club program before joining Louisville’s 2024 recruiting class.

Standing 5’7”, Richards quickly emerged as one of the top young goalies in the country. After limited action as a freshman in 2025, appearing in five games and recording seven saves, she broke out in her sophomore season as Louisville’s starting goalie.

In 2026, Richards has been one of the most statistically dominant goalies in NCAA Division I. She leads the nation in saves, saves per game, and save percentage, posting over 150 saves and averaging more than 12 stops per game. Her performances include multiple double-digit save games and a program-record 19 saves in a single game against Florida State.

Known for her quick reactions, strong hand-eye coordination, and composure in the cage, Richards has also earned national recognition, including an Inside Lacrosse Midseason All-America honorable mention.

Off the field, she is a business major and has expressed interest in entrepreneurship or joining her family’s business after her playing career.
