This week on the Lax Goalie Rat Podcast, I am joined by the All-MAAC Defensive Player of the Year, goalie Mason Oak from Quinnipiac University.
Growing up in the lacrosse hotbed of Long Island, Mason Oak hopped in goal for the first time in second grade. His team needed a goalie, and he was brave enough to try it out.
Mason had a stellar Junior season with the Bobcats, amassing over 200 saves with a 58% save rate. With those awesome stats he was named MAAC Defensive Player of the Year. Mason has one year of eligibility left and I know that he will be lighting up the College world this year.
