Taylor Moreno (#77)
Is there a hotter goalie in the world right now?
After winning a national championship in her final year at North Carolina, Taylor Moreno entered the pros and proceeded to be crown the 2022 Athletes Unlimited Lacrosse Champion in her rookie season.
She had a total of 1,798 points with 132 saves throughout the season, and ended up finishing with a 56% save rate.
She was also a guest coach at the Lacrosse Goalie Summit 7 – a great session on clearing the ball!

Britt Read (#19)
Britt Read is one of my recent favorite goalies. After watching her ball it up with Team England in the World Championships, she had a great season with AU.
She’s sponsored by Warrior/New Balance so its no surprise she’s fully decked out in their gear.
Britt ended the season on a pretty good note with almost a 50% save rate (48%) and 100 saves, scoring 1,394 points.
She is also one of the only goalies in this list using the longer shaft which I call the “goalie length” versus an “attack length”.
Caylee Waters (#43)
After a national championship as an assistant coach with UNC and a world championship with Team USA, Caylee took her goalie talents to the 2nd season of Athlete Unlimited.
She ended the season with 1,385 points. She was voted 1st MPV once, 2nd MPV twice, and 3rd MVP once during the 2022 campaign.
Pretty sure that the Shield 200 chestie peaking up from out of her jersey.

Kady Glynn (#00)
The Loyola grad and Richmond assistant coach Kady Glynn suited up for her 2nd season of Athletes Unlimited lacrosse this year.
I like how Kady threw in a colored shooter to match the jersey of her team each week.
She’s plays with the Nike Vapor Pro goalie gloves that we recently reviewed for the blog.
She finished the AU season 10th with 1298 points along with 1 first place MVP, 1 second place, and 3 third.
Molly Dougherty
The James Madison grad and national champ Molly Dougherty joined the pro ranks this year!
She is one of few who are repping the ghost pocket (no shooter strings) along with Taylor Moreno.
We’re so used to seeing shooting strings in goalie heads that many ask me about the ghost pocket. And the truth is, if the pocket is well strung with a nice channel, there’s no need for the shooters. And many goalies like the feel.
The rookie didn’t see much playing time this year but did get action in 1 game with 2 saves on 5 goals against.

Molly Wolf (#30)
Molly Wolf has been a pro goalie for awhile now dating back to her time with the WPLL Pride.
She finished this AU season in 32nd with a total of 872 points.
We see Molly Wolf sporting the Nike Vapor Pro goalie gloves, a very popular choice of amongst the female pros.
They are known to be a very light weight piece of gear that has a very soft feel, roomy (but not too big), and they provide excellent grip.
Couldn’t find any good pics of the chest pad so assuming its a Shield 600.
Mira Shane (#33)
Mira is awesome! Have y’all seen her TedTalk?
She got skills in the net too! She finished the season with 746 points.
Mira helped us out with the Nike Vapor pro goalie gloves review.

Oh and Mira got the best dance moves out of anyone by far:
Paulina DiFatta (#99)
After setting all kinds of records at Pitt, goalie Paulina DiFatta entered into the pro ranks this year.
She’s a StringKing sponsored athlete so she is the only lady on this list going with the Mark 2G.
The StringKing is a very reliable, durable, and flexible stick to play with and has gotten great reviews, although some dislike its forward slanting scoop.
Paulina finished her first AU campaign with a total of 566 points.
