56 GIF’s of Lacrosse Goalies making saves

Let’s start with a nice easy save

Lacrosse Save GIF

Dude gets stuffed on the creased and then pays the price. Great coma slide coming from off-screen

Lacrosse Save 2

Nice save from Ohio Machine goalie Brian Phipps. Love the quick outlet pass creating a fast break.

Goalie GIF

Stuffed on the door step

A little bit of popcorn from an ambitious long-stick

Shot on the crease hits the pipe and rebounds to an attackman. Watch Drew Adams footwork as he moves across the crease and squares to the shooter.

Great fake on the door step by this attackman but this goalie is having none of that. Great save! I think this why attackman are supposed to fake high and then shoot low, right?

Admire the fearless pursuit of the rebound

Nice save on an outside shot

Duke Goalie saves a low bouncer

Sometimes you can only get a piece

Kip Turner saves one from inside

More Kip Turner, this time with an outlet pass from his knees.

Shot…save!

Nice, quick reactions on close in shot

Slow Mo makes saves look a little too easy.

Kick save and a beauty

I love these slow motion saves

Galloway stuffs dive shot

Galloway reacts nicely to low fake, high shot

More Galloway…

Fights off a series of fakes to make the save

Big time stuff!

Adam Ghitelman with a nice save on a quick-stick

This goalie comes out a little too far but what a recovery. I’ve always said these diving saves are because you weren’t in the right position to begin with.

Awesome sliding save when caught out of the goal on a clear. Then another impressive save off the rebound. Damn that’s nice.

15 yards out, shooter on the run and contested, shot to your stick side. Goalies should make that save the majority of the time.

There’s no way this shot is getting by Schwartzman. His quick outlet pass starts the break.

Save on the door step

Impressive quickness to get down to the low shot

Saves, saves, and more saves

Impressive off-stick save. Coach your defenders not to get beat over the top like this. Make attackers drive down the sides.

Doesn’t matter where the ball hits you – a save is a save

I don’t think so son!

Let’s switch it up. Goalie with the quick-stick goal! Who says wall ball doesn’t benefit goalies?

Back to saves, here’s Drew Adams again

Queener with the save and starts the break

Nice job waiting through the fakes

Saves like this can completely change the momentum of a game. I wonder if this goalie read my goalie tips on how to make one-on-one saves. Probably not. But he definitely makes a sweet 1v1 stuff!

This is one of my favorites. The save, the crushing hit, what’s not to love!

Kip Turner with a nice save in close

Brett Queener saves a low shot

Queener takes off up the field after a nice save in close

Nice stick handling and quickness from Queener

That one is gonna leave a mark but you know what, chalk it up as a save.

I like how this goalie creeps out to cut down the angle to make that one-on-one save.

Goalies should save contested, outside shots with regularity

Nice save technique here. Everything I talk about in this post on making a lacrosse save is demonstrating perfectly here.

Great defensive effort and a nice save!

Goalies makes save on attackman driving from X

Queener makes nice save inside and then takes off up the field, classic Queener

Kip Turner saves an outside shot

Paul Rabil is a man amongst boys. Anytime you save one his shots, you’re doing something right.

Adam Ghitelman with the save

More Adam Ghitelman…

Let’s close it out with a sweet finish from a goalie after a half field sprint.
