From the MCLA to the MLL – Ronnie Fernando – LGR Episode 25
Ronnie Fernando doesn’t have the stereotypical background of a lacrosse professional athlete.
He isn’t from the East Coast. He didn’t play D1 college ball. His weight once got up to over 300 pounds.
And yet through hard work, love of the game, and dedication to improving his craft Ronnie has become one of the top goalies in the world currently playing for the Atlanta Blaze in the MLL.
Listen this week as Ronnie Fernando tells his story of first purchasing a stick at a Play it Again Sports in Mission Viejo, CA. To playing for Concordia University Irvine and then the Atlanta Blaze.
We’ll discuss his training routine, his mental mindsets, and his tips for all the young goalies out there that want to take their game to the next level.
